Atlanta Falcons at Denver Broncos Preview and Predictions

Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons head on the road to Denver, Colorado this week to take on Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos. The teams will meet at Empower Field at Mile High, Denver. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX. Let’s dive in and take a look at this Falcons-Broncos preview and predictions.

The Atlanta Falcons head into Week 11 with a record of 6-4 and a two-game lead in the NFC South. They are coming off a loss to the New Orleans Saints last week in their first game of the post-Dennis Allen era. Before that, Atlanta had won five of their last six games.

Denver is 5-5 on the season and were a field goal attempt that was blocked in the closing seconds last week away from beating the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. That loss was on the heels of a beatdown at the Baltimore Ravens.

Bo Nix Over 26.5 Rushing Yards (-117)

Bo Nix has shown an incredible ability to rush the ball this season with five performances clearing this number and twice doubling it. When the Falcons have faced quarterbacks capable of running the ball, it’s not gone well for Atlanta. Dak Prescott, Baker Mayfield, Justin Fields, and Jalen Hurts all cruised past this number against them.

Denver Broncos -1 (-120)

The Broncos are 7-3 against the spread in 2024, the third-best record ATS in the NFL. They’ve been my favorite team to bet on this season, and I haven’t regretted it often. Bo Nix is coming into his own and we’ve seen how good of a coach Sean Peyton is.

I expect this game to be a close one hard-fought battle with the Broncos home field advantage coming in clutch at Mile-High.
