Lamar Washington Higher Than 5.5 Assists

Pacific gets Northern Arizona tonight, and Tigers point guard Lamar Washington should go higher than his assists total of 5.5.

Northern Arizona gave up nine assists to the Stanford starting back court in a blow out loss. Washington has cleared 5.5 assists in three of his games this year. That includes two games with double digit assists.

Washington is averaging 9.9 assists per game this year in an expanded role with Pacific. He only averaged 8.9 minutes per game last year with Texas Tech, and is clearly thriving with a starting job this year. Washington is a key distributor for the Tigers, and should work his way to more than 5.5 assists against the Lumberjacks.

Make sure Washington is in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 14th.

Basheer Jihad Higher Than 2.5 Turnovers

Grand Canyon comes to Arizona State tonight, and Sun Devils big man Basheer Jihad will hand the ball over at least three times against the Lopes defense.

Jihad has gone higher than 2.5 turnovers in each of his first three games with Arizona State. He also averaged 3.4 turnovers per game with Ball State last year. Jihad can score and rebound, but he can also give the ball over to the other team.

Given how tough of a match up Grand Canyon can be, you’ll want to go higher on Jihad turnovers in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 14th.

Cam Carter Lower Than 5.5 Rebounds+Assists

Cam Carter heads back to Manhattan, KS for the first time since transferring from Kansas State to LSU.

Carter averaged over seven rebounds and assists per game last year with the Wildcats, but LSU has leaned on him more for his scoring this year. In his first two games as a Tiger, Carter has gone under 5.5 rebounds and assists, while averaging 21.0 points per game.

Given this is Carter’s first game back in Manhattan and he’s relied on as more of a scorer, he’s likely to want to shoot first. Look for Carter to try to fill it up on offense instead of distributing. Also, his minute load and rebounds totals have been a bit lower than they were with K-State. He’s unlikely to compile his way to six rebounds and assists, and lower number should hit with ease.
