Oumar Ballo Higher Than 12.5 Points
Indian big man Oumar Ballo managed 15 points against SIU-Edwardsville in the season opener. He gets Eastern Illinois in game two. The Panthers got absolutely wrecked by Illinois in their season opener. The game saw both Fighting Illini starting big men score 14 points apiece.
Ballo averaged 12.9 points last season, and 14.2 the year before. He’s already cleared 12.5 points once this season. Eastern Illinois has size, but they’re a bottom 60 program this year, and Ballo should feast early.
Look for Ballo to go higher than 12.5 points against EIU and make sure he’s in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 10.
Cameron Hildreth Higher Than 0.5 Threes
This one is a little chalky, but the next pick is a little spicy, so it evens out.
Cameron Hildreth went 3-for-6 from beyond the arc against Coppin State, but he only shot once from beyond the arc against North Carolina A&T and missed. His 0-for-1 performance is likely why this is listed at 0.5 threes instead of 1.5 threes.
Hildreth averaged 1.5 made threes per game last year, and there’s no reason to think he doesn’t maintain similar numbers in the 2024-25 season. Hildreth will get one three against the Wolverines, and this will be an easy second leg cash. Make sure you go chalk on Hildreth made threes in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 10.
John Blackwell Higher Than 1.5 Threes
This might be one of the easiest plays on the board. Blackwell has played 30 minutes or more in each of the Wisconsin Badgers first two games, and he’s shot at least four three-pointers in each.
He made two threes against Holy Cross, and drained three against Montana State. Blackwell is clearly taking on a bigger role in the Wisconsin offense and he’s a 45.5% shooter from beyond the arc for his career. Look for Blackwell to clear 1.5 three-pointers on Sunday against Appalachian State.
