Carolina Panthers vs. New York Giants Preview and Predictions

Carolina Panthers vs. New York Giants Preview and Predictions

Sunday NFL Week 10 kicks off with an early start across the pond. The Carolina Panthers and the New York Giants will kick off in Munich, Germany. Not sure how many folks will be up for this game outside of the respective fanbases but we have football right? Both teams have struggled this season possessing records of 2-7. Which team will get their third win of the season? Below are my Panthers vs. Giants Preview and Predictions.

Both of these teams have severely underperformed this season. They are both 2-7 SU and have struggled against the spread. Earlier this season, the Panthers lost key players on the defensive side and are very limited on offense after trading a few receivers. Meanwhile, you can make the same case for the Giants. The Giants have the talent on both sides of the football but we all know Daniel Jones is not the quarterback of the future.

This game will be played in Germany and both teams have a few injuries. First, the Giants will be without wide receiver Darius Slayton and questionable tags on a few depth players on the defensive side. Meanwhile, the Panthers continue to be without wide receiver Adam Thielen. Furthermore, offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu will be out for this game as well.

Best Bets

Plenty of fans can make the case that the NFL is sending the two worst teams in Germany. And I couldn’t argue against that. However, the Panthers have been going through a sort of quarterback carousel. The Panthers are coming off a stunning division win over the New Orleans Saints. The area the Panthers will struggle in this game will be the pass rush of the Giants.

The Giants lead the league in team sacks thus far this season and former Panther Brian Burns will be licking his chops in this game. Teams that are coming off a game where they were an underdog of six or more points and are dogs again the following of six or more points are 8-66 SU and 23-51 ATS. I am going to trust the Giants’ defense to limit the Panthers and the rushing attack and Daniel Jones to find success in the passing game.

Best Bet: Giants -6.5

Player Prop Best Bet

Daniel Jones Over 199.5 Passing Yards

The New York Giants take on one of the worst defenses in the NFL in Germany. The teams have had plenty of success, not only in running the football but also in throwing against the Panthers. I am going to pinch my nose and bank on Daniel Jones to throw for 200 yards in this game. Eight of the nine quarterbacks the Panthers have faced this season have thrown for more than 200 yards. The only quarterback who didn’t? Deshaun Watson. I am not asking a whole lot from Daniel Jones here. I’ll take the over on his passing yards to kick off Week 10.
