Week 10 of NFL action kicks off with an NFC North divisional thriller on Thursday Night Football! The Cincinnati Bengals led by Joe Burrow head to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. There they’ll clash with Lamar Jackson and his Baltimore Ravens. This game features the highest point total projection of the week (53) and should be a thriller. Let’s take a look at this Bengals-Ravens preview and predictions.
The Cincinnati Bengals started the season slow, which is nothing new for the team. After losing their first three games to open the season and starting 1-4, they’ve won three of their last four games to bring them to 4-5 on the season. They’ll be without wide receiver Tee Higgins who has been ruled out with a quad injury. Zach Moss’s season is over after a neck injury, and newly acquired Khalil Herbert may see a small role in his place. Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr is questionable but likely to play with a knee injury, while defensive tackle BJ Hill remains questionable as well.
For the Baltimore Ravens, they started the season 0-2 before going on a five game win streak that included wins over the Buffalo Bills and these Cincinnati Bengals. In Week 8 they fell to the Browns, before bouncing back with a convincing 41-10 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 9. They sit at 6-3 after nine weeks of play. Lamar Jackson was removed from the injury report Wednesday and will play Thursday night. Isaiah Likely has been ruled out of Thursday’s game with a hamstring injury. It’s unclear if the newly acquired Tre’Davious White will play Thursday night.

Lamar Jackson Over 48.5 Rushing Yards (-112)
The Baltimore Ravens are the number one team in the NFL at rushing the ball, averaging 191.1 yards per game. While Derrick Henry tends to carry a lot of the rushing load, Lamar still gets plenty of rushing in himself. Jackson is averaging almost 10 carries and over 56 yards per game on the ground.

Jackson also loves to rush the ball against these Cincinnati Bengals. These tough-fought battles going back and forth between himself and Joe Burrow bring out Lamar’s competitive side. He’s gone over 48.5 rushing yards the last six times he’s played against Cincinnati. You have to go all the way back to Week 5 of the 2020 season, to find the last time the Bengals held Jackson to under this rushing total. That’s the only time in his 10 career starts against the divisional rival, they’ve held him to under 54 yards even.
Over 53 Total Points Scored (-110)
As mentioned above this game has the highest over/under on the week at 53 points. These two teams tend to get into shootouts when they play each other as the full rivalry runs through each team’s veins. When they matched up back in Week 5 they combined for 79 total points in Cincinnati. Their last three matchups have all cleared over 53 points, and five of the last seven matchups have hit that over.
On top of series history, both teams have high-flying offenses through nine weeks of the season. The Ravens are second in points scored per game with a 31.4 point-per-game average from their potent offense. The Bengals aren’t far behind with a rank of seventh in points scored per game checking in at 26.2. Expect these two rivals to trade blows and shots back and forth all night.
