After winning their first game of the season, the Patriots won their second game last week in an upset victory against division foe Jets. Furthermore, the Titans have certainly fallen well under expectations this season as they have won only one game. The Titans come into this game against the Patriots with significant injuries on the offensive side. The Titans could be without Tony Pollard who is dealing with a foot injury and has not participated in practice all week. Additionally, the Titans could be without Tyler Boyd who is dealing with a shoulder injury and also has not practiced.
Meanwhile, the Patriots could see Jacoby Brissett starting for the Patriots. There are plenty of questionable tags coming into this game for the Patriots as of Friday’s injury report.

The early season darling for “sharp” bettors has been the Titans who are just 1-6 ATS. The question in this game becomes who steps up for the Titans’ offense with all the injuries. Calvin Ridley had a big week last week against the Lions in a game where it was tied 14-14 and was then outscored by 37 points.
The bright spot for the Titans has been their defense which has played at an elite level outside of the game last week. With the Patriots coming off a huge division game last week, this could be a flat spot this week. Since the 2022 season, when the Patriots are coming off a home division win and are on the road, they are 0-4 SU and 0-4 ATS getting outscored by 17 points. I am going to pinch my nose and take the Titans this week.
