Arizona Cardinals at Miami Dolphins Preview and Predictions

Arizona Cardinals at Miami Dolphins Preview and Predictions

The Miami Dolphins will see the return of their starting Tua Tagovailoa after sustaining a concussion in Week 2. Tua missed the last four games for the Dolphins where they went 1-3. If the Dolphins want even a remote chance to sniff the playoffs, it has to start this week at home against the Cardinals. Below are my Cardinals at Dolphins preview and predictions.

The Miami Dolphins was struggling to say the least in the absence of Tua. But this game is prime for the Dolphins offense to get back on track. Aside from getting Tua back this week, Jaylen Waddle returns for the Dolphins. Tyreek Hill did not participate in practice on Friday but is expected to play on Sunday.

On the other hand, the Cardinals came into this game after winning Monday Night Football against the Chargers. The Cardinals will be without Sean Murphy-Bunting for this matchup. Can the Dolphins take advantage of a Cardinals pass defense that is currently struggling?

Best Bets

This is the game the Dolphins get back on track after scoring less than 20 points over the last four games in the absence of Tua. Despite the Cardinals being 2-1 ATS on the road this season, the defense is struggling. The Cardinals are allowing the 7th most passing yards per game and the 5th most over the last three weeks.

Furthermore, Since the 2020 season, the Dolphins have been 6-3 ATS in non-conference home games and were a perfect 3-0 in those spots last season. In the same span, the Dolphins are 25-12 (67.6%) SU and 23-14 (62.2%) ATS in home games. This is a good spot for the Dolphins who are healthy and to get back on the winning side of the season.

Best Bet: Dolphins -4.5

Tyreek Hill Longest Reception Over 27.5

With the return of Tua, I expect the explosive plays to return for the Dolphins. This is a game where the Dolphins let out all their frustration on how limited they were in the absence of Tua. Don’t be surprised if we see fireworks early in this game from the Dolphins and in particular Tyreek Hill. We know the speed and elusiveness that Hill possesses.
