Carolina Panthers at Washington Commanders Preview and Predictions

Carolina Panthers at Washington Commanders Preview and Predictions

I certainly did not have the Washington Commanders sitting on top the NFC East after the first six weeks of the season, but here we are! Jayden Daniels has led this offense to an elite level. In NFL Week 7 they look to continue rolling against a struggling Panthers defense. Below are my Panthers at Commanders Preview and predictions.

Despite making the quarterback change for the Panthers, the defense is struggling to say the least. The Panthers are allowing 33.8 point per game and in large part due to the injuries on defense. In NFL Week 7, the Panthers have the tall task of going up against the high-powered offense led by Jayden Daniels.

The Commanders are finding their form on the offensive side of football. They are running the ball effectively and find explosive plays. It seems like the Panthers are heading toward possessing one of the worst records in the NFL. Can they slow down the Commanders?

Best Bets

This one was simple for me. I want to continue backing the Commanders’ offense in this game. Despite how well the Commanders are playing, I am not sure they should be a 9.5 point favorite in a game. There is always the possibility of the back door touchdown to cover the spread. However, the Panthers defense is allowing 33.8 points per game. No other team is allowing more than 30 points per game in the league.

Jayden Daniel is finding his targets down the field and I expect no different in this matchup. I do expect the Commanders to play with the lead in this game and force Andy Dalton to throw the football. Give me the Commanders’ team total over in this game!

Best Bet: Commanders Team Total Over 31

Player Prop Best Bet

Chubba Hubbard Over 69.5 Rushing Yards

Chubba Hubbard has been fantastic for the Panthers and has a great matchup this week against the Commanders. The Commanders are allowing 5.0 yards per carry which is the third most in the NFL. Furthermore, Hubbard has gone over this projection in four straight games for the Panthers. I expect another big game for Hubbard!
