We are piling up these 1-1 weeks like it’s our job! (It is). Sooner than later, we are going to pop for that mini sweep and get the ship headed in the right direction. Missouri got the job done on the road against UMass and cleared that 27.5 line with ease. On the other hand, BYU and their turnover luck prevailed yet again and Arizona could not get the cover. They are a team to fade in the near future as their metrics do not match their rankings and spreads. Below, we will take a look at this week’s College Football Picks and dish out some more winners for week 8.
Week 8 College Football Picks
Colorado (56) at Arizona -3.5
What a game Colorado just played against Kansas State late on Saturday Night. The Buffs showed a late fight to take the lead before ultimately blowing it against a fun Kansas State team. Arizona could not hang with BYU but a lot of it was due to fluky turnovers. Defensively, Arizona did not look great and neither did Colorado.
What I truly believe is that Coach Sanders and Co. want to score as many points as possible to simply boost Shedeur’s draft stock. With that will come a lot of points let up on the defensive end. I believe both of these teams will be offensively challenged this weekend and the points will fly. I am expecting these two to come out of the gates fast and a shootout to occur.

The Pick: Over 56
Oklahoma State (55.5) at BYU -9
Right back to the well with another BYU game. This time around, they host the Cowboys of Oklahoma State on Friday night. It will be a short week for BYU after they played Saturday afternoon while Oklahoma State gets to come in off the buy. Looking back to the pre season, BYU was projected to be one of the worst teams in the Big 12. While that is 100% incorrect, they are not one of the best teams.
Thus far, they have thrived off absurd turnover luck and great breaks on special teams. Oklahoma State comes into this game with an even turnover margin, which tells me they are not going to just gift the ball to the Cougars. Also, the Cowboys are a team who will pound the rock and run the clock. Sure, BYU will be rocking on friday night but I would not be shocked if this game came down the wire. The turnover luck is bound to catch up to them and Oklahoma State is catching too many points.
