MLB NRFI and YRFI Picks – October 15
Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees
First Pitch – 7:38 pm EST
Yankee Stadium – Bronx, New York

Gerrit Cole takes the bump first on Tuesday and he’s been solid – particularly recently. He has three quality starts in his last four starts with just one hiccup against the Royals. More importantly he’s been keeping the ball in the park. Since the calendar turned to September, he has allowed just one dinger. That already is the confidence I need to be sure that he can get us three outs in game two. However, if it’s not enough for you, consider his lone start against the Guardians this year. He went 6.0 scoreless innings with just one hit allowed at the end of August.
The bottom of the first will make us sweat a touch more with the Yankees at the plate. However, Tanner Bibee is throwing his best games right now. After posting a 2.64 ERA in the month of September, he’s put up a 2.08 figure in his two October starts. He too is allowing less home runs right now. He’s give up just one round-tripper in the last four games. Combine that with the limited action the Yankees have against him and you have to like the NRFI here.
