Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears Preview and Predictions

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears Preview and Predictions

NFL Week 6 features another playoff game across the pond. A very familiar team makes its way to London in the Jacksonville Jaguars who will take on the Chicago Bears. This will be the 12th trip to London for the Jaguars who are all too familiar with the trip. Both teams are coming off wins in Week 5. Below are my Jaguars vs. Bears Preview and Predictions for the early start on Sunday!

As I mentioned above, the Jaguars are no strangers to this trip to London. This will be the first time the Bears are playing across the pond since 2019. Does that give the Jaguars an advantage? Absolutely. The Jaguars do have quite a few questionable tags for this game. First, Travis Etienne Jr is dealing with a shoulder injury and has been a limited participant in practice. Additionally, Gabe Davis is dealing with a knee injury, which has also been limited in practice.

Furthermore, the Jaguars have cluster injuries on the defensive side and their status for the game is yet to be determined. Meanwhile, for the Chicago Bears, they will be without several defensive players in this matchup. Could injuries to both teams on the defensive side lead to points?

Best Bets

When I initially saw the spread in this game, I was genuinely shocked. Yes, the Jaguars won their only game of the season last week against the Colts in overtime. But I believe the difference in this game is the routine the Jaguars know and are familiar with playing in London. As I mentioned above, this will be the 12th trip to London for the Jaguars. The Jaguars are 6-5 in London however, they have won three out of their last four games.

This game will be played in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium where the Jaguars have won both their games. I expect the Jaguars to build off their win last week and carry this momentum into their next two games which are in London.

Best Bet: Jaguars +1.5 and +102

Player Prop Best Bet

D’Andre Swift Over 18.5 Receiving Yards

Over the last 4 weeks of the regular season, Swift has been involved in the passing game for the Bears. In each of the last four weeks, Swift has at least 22 receiving yards for the Bears. Over the last two weeks, Swift has combined for 119 receiving yards. They matchup this week against the Jaguars in London.

Running backs vs the Jaguars in the passing game have found plenty of success. With the exception of Week 2, at least one running back has gone over this projection. Running backs against the Jaguars are averaging 57 receiving yards per game. I like Swift to continue his involvement in the passing game.
