Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers Preview and Predictions

A week full of division games and we have another one on the West Coast in the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers will welcome Kyler Murray and the Cardinals to town. The 49ers coming off an impressive victory against the Patriots. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have dropped two straight and the defense is starting to fall off. Below are my Cardinals at 49ers Preview and Predictions.

The Arizona Cardinals get good news with the return of tight end Trey McBride. McBride missed last week with a concussion but is a full go this week. Meanwhile, the 49ers saw the return of Deebo Samuel and George Kittle. The 49ers found themselves is new territory prior to last week being below .500.

Additionally, the Cardinals are dealing with two injuries on the offensive lines with Kelvin Beachum and Christian Jones. Of note, George Kittle and Fred Warner did not practice on Thursday so we’ll keep an eye on the injury report for Friday.

Cardinals at 49ers Preview and Predictions

Best Bets

The 49ers come into this game with a top-10 rush defense. In fact, the 49ers are allowing only 96.3 rushing yards per game which ranks sixth best in the league. Additionally, the 49ers are allowing only 4.1 yards per carry. It has been quite the contrary for the Cardinals. Thus far this season, the Cardinals are allowing 5.8 yards per play which ranks fifth worst in the league.

Furthermore, the 49ers are in the midst of the tough part of their schedule. They have a quick turnaround in another division game on Thursday Night Football against the Seahawks. Will they possibly be looking ahead? Maybe. But I believe the 49ers offense will be too much for the Cardinals to keep up with. If the 49ers can contain Kyler Murray in the pocket and generate pressure they should be able to limit the offense.

Best Bet: 49ers -7

Player Prop Best Bet

Brock Purdy Over 257.5 Passing Yards

Brock Purdy is playing the best football of his career and has done a fantastic job of making plays with players being in and out of the lineup. Purdy has exceeded this projection in three straight weeks. As I mentioned above, Kittle and Deebo are back in the lineup for the 49ers. As I mentioned above, the Cardinals’ pass defense is struggling to say the least. Expect a big game from Brock Purdy.
