Another week of college football is here, and we have some beautiful matchups at our disposal. Tomorrow night, we have a fun one in Piscataway, New Jersey. Saturday, we have an awesome game down in Tuscaloosa. Outside of that, we have plenty of elite matchups to sweat and win some money on. Below, we will take a look at some college football bets ahead of the week 5 slate.

Week 5 College Football Picks
Georgia -2 at Alabama (48.5)
The Bulldogs take the drive to Tuscaloosa to take on their rivals in Alabama. These two have played some absolute classics over the years. The last two have come from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, but this one will be played in Tuscaloosa. The environment around this game is going to be as hectic as any game we have seen in years. Bryant-Denny Stadium will be sold out and filled to the brim.

Look for quarterback Jalen Milroe to give this UGA defense a ton of fits with his legs. The Georgia program has done well containing Alabama over the year but look for them to struggle with the new look offense. We have not seen much of what Coach DeBoer is capable of yet, but we know how electric he can move the offense around. This is going to be a fun matchup from the jump, and both teams have electric defenses. Look for the Alabama offense to be the X factor here.

Liberty -3.5 at Appalachian State (62.5)
These two teams have been at the top of the group of five over the last few years, but they are going in opposite directions right now. Liberty is coming off a game in which they had to wait all day for a delay. They got off to a really slow start as touchdown favorites against East Carolina but ended up winning and covering in the end.
App State is coming off a long week and has extra time to prep, but this line is too short. This App State team lost a ton of talent in the portal and are not up to par with Liberty. I would not be shocked to see them throw the first punch, but Liberty has the firepower on offense to win and cover on the road. They are a great addition to your week 5 college football bets.
