I start out with the Rockies at Reds. Austin Slater is a new member of the Reds, but got a hit in his first game with the team. He is coming back versus Austin Gomber, a pitcher he faced plenty of times when he was batting for the Giants back in the NL West.
Next I target Isaac Paredes of the Rays vs Nestor Cortes and the Yankees. Paredes has succeeded in this matchup before, I believe he will do it again.
The last Underdog Pick for Thursday on the show slip has me backing a guy who has the potential to be a future MLB star. The Athletics young outfielder, Lawrence Butler. Butler has been seeing the ball well in Boston and I believe he will continue his hit streak at Fenway Park.
