Underdog Fantasy MLB Daily Pick‘em Plays – July 7
Rafael Devers Higher Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Rafael Devers has put together another impressive campaign thus far in 2024, and he seems to always give the Yankees a tough time. The 27-year-old third basemen is slashing .287/.373/.520 this season, and he is red hot as of late. In his six games, Devers has recorded 8 hits, 2 homers, and 10 RBIs.
He’ll face Yankees starter Luis Gil, who has struggled recently after dominating in the first few months of the season. I think Devers has a huge night at the plate, either against Gil or the Yanks’ beat-up Bullpen.
Teoscar Hernandez Higher Than 8.0 Fantasy Points
We have talked a bit about Teoscar Hernadez this season and his dominance against left-handed pitching. Today, Hernandez gets to face one of the worst left-handed starters in baseball in Dallas Keuchel.
To be honest, I have no idea how Keuchel is still sticking around the majors, although the Brewers have struggled to find starting pitching options this year. Hernadez has been huge this year for the Dodgers, with an OPS of .809 and 19 homers. He’s going to feast against Keuchel today!
