Today’s show features Underdog Picks for Monday in the Stanley Cup Final and Major League Baseball. First I target an old faithful play for the show involving the Stanley Cup. we will know if the pick hits in the first 20 minutes of gametime. If this pick hits, I have a good idea which team is winning the Stanley cup, and I’m certain Sergei Bobrovsky will not be winning the Conn Smyth Trophy.
Next I have to put a clothespin on my nose as I air out a play on a player that many have called “trash.” It is #PatrickCorbinDay for gamblers, but it is also Patrick Corbin Day for me on Underdog, just not for the usual “fade” reasons.
Lastly, I target a young player on potentially the most cursed team in MLB, the Oakland As. I’ve got my eye on 22 year old first baseman Tyler Soderstrom and have some thoughts on his matchup with Angels starting pitcher Griffin Canning.
