Uaderdog Fantasy WNBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – June 21
Caitlin Clark – Higher than 30.0 PTS + REBS + ASTS
Look out, WNBA – Catilin Clark seems to be getting her feet under her. The Indiana Fever rookie phenom is starting to put numbers up on the board reminiscent of her college ones, and the Fever are starting to win games.
The play on Clark for Friday night is higher than 30.0 points plus rebounds plus assists. Clark has topped this in two straight games and three of her last five, pushing her season average total in the three categories up to 28.0.
Aliyah Boston – Higher than 15.5 Points
Clark should be able to rack up the assists for us if she passes to teammate Aliyah Boston tomorrow against the Atlanta Dream. Boston is on a scoring heater as of late, so we’re taking the higher than 15.5 points for her for Friday.
The second-year forward is having a down year compared to her rookie season, but she’s moving her numbers up in the right direction as the Fever have started to win games (surely related). She’s beaten this 15.5-point projection in three straight games, including topping 20 in two of those games.
A’ja Wilson – Lower than 40.5 PTS + REBS + ASTS
If the WNBA season ended today, Las Vegas Aces’ center A’ja Wilson would surely secure her third league MVP award. She’s having another career year for the Aces, yet I’m still fading her tomorrow with my play.
And that play would be lower than 40.5 points plus rebounds plus assists. As lights out as she’s been, this is too high of a total, especially going up against the league’s best defense in the Connecticut Sun. And despite her eye-popping numbers, Wilson has failed to top this 40.5 total in back-to-back games and three of her last four.
