Day two of the Travelers Championship is here, and we are in the green. Day one was a cash as Xander Schauffele easily hit his “lower than 67 strokes prop.” Tony Finau cashed for us as well. Scottie Scheffler had a super easy round of 65 to start his 2024 Travelers Championship. He did this by hitting 17 of 18 greens, which is, luckily, regular for him. There may be some rain in the forecast, which will only make the greens easier to hold. There is truly a world in which Scottie can hit every green tomorrow, so we will bite at this line of 14.5. Will Zalatoris Higher Than Two Bogeys
Will had one of his best rounds of the 2024 season. It is great to see my favorite golfer playing well, but I do not expect him to keep it up. He is never a golfer you want to trust in an event where making birdies is a priority.
Zalatoris was fueled by an elite around the green game which is due to regress in the other direction. This line is super benign as Zalatoris can still have a great round with making two bogeys. Fade Will Zalatoris and cash another Underdog Fantasy Pick ‘Em slip on June 21st.
