RBC Canadian Open Underdog Fantasy Pick em’ Plays – May 31st, 2024

A ton of variance in round one, but we are surely on the right track. As the course gets a little dryer, distance may prevail, but for now, I believe there is still an edge to the plotters. Below, we will key in on the golfers who will play from the fairway at a high rate. If not, we will fade the ones who struggle with accuracy. Here are the Underdog Pick ‘Em Selections for May 31st.

RBC Canadian Open Underdog Fantasy Pick em’ Plays – May 31st, 2024

Sam Burns Higher Than 4 Birdies

Burns got off to a great start in round one. The multiple-time PGA Tour winner came out guns blazing with a 7 under round of 63. Four birdies and two eagles were good for one of the rounds of the day.

He was able to get that done by driving the ball in the fairway. From there, he was able to attack and roll the rock. Defending a low round is always a tough ask, but I trust Sam to make some birdies, even if he sprinkles some bogeys in there. Add Sam Burns higher than 4 birdies to your Underdog Pick Em slip for May 31st.

Corey Conners Higher Than 8 Fairways Hit

Conners is off to a one-under round of 69 in his National Open. The Canadian was very nervous at first but put together a respectable round of golf. What makes Conners a solid PGA Tour player is how accurate he is off the tee. With the nerves of round one, he was still able to hit 7 fairways. I expect that to be completely settled in round two.

He should be able to surpass his number from yesterday by a minimum of one more fairway. Conners’ driver is a great weapon, and he will cash you a slip in round two. Add this to your Underdog Fantasy Pick Em slip for May 31st.
