NBA Picks May 12th
New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers

Spread: Pacers -5.5
Total: 218.5
The New York Knicks covered the spread (7.5 points) for us on Friday, but they fell to the Indiana Pacers, as the thinness of their healthy roster might have finally caught up to them. Back in Indiana for a return engagement on Sunday afternoon, can the Knicks cover a tighter spread (5.5 points) this time around?
OG Anunoby has been ruled out of action tomorrow, so that situation is the same as last game. However, Tyrese Haliburton is quite banged up for the home team but is expected to play. It took huge games from Haliburton and Pascal Siakam for Indiana to squeak out a victory on Friday – I think the Knicks can at least cover for us again. And I’m sprinkling on the over again.
Best Bet: Knicks -5.5 (-105); Knicks/Pacers Over 218.5 (-105)
Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Tipoff – 8:00 pm EST
Spread: Timberwolves -3.5
Total: 204.5
I doubted the defending champions and the Denver Nuggets made me pay for it in Game 3. They actually made the Minnesota Timberwolves pay, whipping them by 27 points.
Can they put the boots to the Wolves in Minnesota in back-to-back games? Maybe not, but I think they can win and am willing to take them plus 3.5 points for Game 4. I’ll put my faith in Nikola Jokic. No play on the total – it looks about right to me.
