The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for May 7

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for May 7

Well, degens. To say that it has been some tough sledding around these parts over the last week would be an understatement. Unfortunately, our Monday night two-pack snack was liver and onions after going zero for two. But The Quick Pick isn’t where it is today because of its blunders but rather for its triumphs. There are two more NHL Playoff games on Tuesday night, and we’re going to play them like a fiddle. So get ready for some action. We’re headed to the kitchen to cook up a banger. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for May 7.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for May 7

Sebastian Aho Higher Than 0.5 Points

Facing an early 1-0 series deficit, the Carolina Hurricanes have it all to do on Tuesday night. However, there were some signs of life in their Game 1 defeat with those signs coming from Sebastian Aho. In Game 1, Aho tallied two assists and was a plus 2 rating on the ice.

His involvement in both 5v5 and the Power Play are muy importante for this Canes team. I see a big game on the horizon for the Fin tonight in MSG. Let’s keep our first NHL Underdog entry on Tuesday night nice and juicy. Go ahead and take Sebastian Aho to go Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Rangers in Game 2.

Mika Zibanejad Higher Than 0.5 Points

With our second NHL Underdog entry for tonight’s banger, we’re going to keep things within the walls of the Garden. Swedish center Mika Zibanejad had an absolutely outstanding Game 1 performance against Carolina. He tallied two goals and added an assist for a three point night to help his team to victory.

That now makes it a five-game point streak in the playoffs for Mika, and tonight smells like six. The guy is a point degenerate in that he finds himself in on the action without really even trying. So, we’ll take the Rangers version of the Swedish Chef and mash Mika Zibanejad Higher Than 0.5 Points in Game 2.

Cale Makar Higher Than 0.5 Points

What would an NHL Playoff banger be without the addition of Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar? That’s more of a rhetorical question, so don’t even bother trying to answer it. On Tuesday night the Avs and the Stars will begin what has the looks of a series that will go the distance.

The Avalanche have had a little more rest, but Makar has been buzzing early in the playoffs. He is riding a five-game point streak into tonight, including two goals and seven assists in Round 1.

This last piece to our banger on Tuesday night really should be as easy as pie. Grab the hammers and smash Cale Makar Higher Than 0.5 Points and let’s cash a damn banger!
