The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for May 6

Charlie McAvoy Higher Than 0.5 Points (1.1x Odds)

In epic Game 7 overtime fashion, the Boston Bruins dispatched the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night. It will now be a quick turn-around for Game 1 against the Florida Panthers in Sunrise, FL. Our first NHL Underdog entry is Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy. Although he had a modest 47 point season, he did perform particularly well against Florida in the regular season.
In four games against the Cats, McAvoy tallied four points, including three goals. The defenseman also put in a solid seven games against Toronto, with points in three of those seven. With the numbers and figures on our side, this first pick looks tasty and comes at a beautiful price. Go ahead and take Charlie McAvoy Higher Than 0.5 Points in Game 1 against Florida.

Matthew Tkachuk Higher Than 0.5 Assists

The Florida Panthers have been waiting on their Round 2 opponents for exactly one week now. Tonight, they skate on home ice and welcome the Bruins to town for what promises to be an electric series. Our second addition to Monday night’s two-pack snack is American winger Matthew Tkachuk. He dropped a casual 88 points in the regular season and took just 80 games to do so. In their Round 1 series with Tampa, Tkachuk logged an absurd six assists in just five games. And if that doesn’t wet your beak, then maybe his time on ice stats and power play production will. Give ‘em a look because you won’t be disappointed. We’re adding Matthew Tkachuk Higher Than 0.5 Assists to this entry and having ourselves a snack tonight!
