Aaron Judge Higher than 0.5 RBIs
After a super slow start to begin his 2024 campaign, the Yankee captain has been swinging a hot bat over this last week. In his last seven games played, Judge is hitting .333 with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs. On Tuesday, Judge and the second-place Yankees take on the 2023 AL East Champion, Baltimore Orioles, for the second game of their four-game set.
Dean Kremer will be Baltimore’s starter in this one, making this a favorable matchup for Judge. Judge is 4-10 with 3 home runs and 4 RBIs off Kremer in his career. I’ll be playing his RBIs here, as Juan Soto has been getting on base in front of Judge an awful lot.
Ronald Acuna Higher than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Shockingly, Ronald Acuna has continued to struggle for the Braves despite them having the best record in baseball. Acuna is hitting .244 in April with just 1 home run and 6 RBIs. I love Acuna in this spot because of his success throughout his career against Mariners fireballer Luis Castillo. Acuna is 7-13 in his career against Castillo. Not to mention, Acuna is penciled in at the leadoff spot, so he will have the most opportunities to get at bats.
Teoscar Hernandez Lower than 8.5 Fantasy Points
Hernandez has cooled off a bit after his scorching hot start to the season, although his season numbers remain strong. On Tuesday, Hernandez and the Dodgers face off against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Jordan Montgomery is the scheduled starter for the Snakes.
After signing super late into the offseason, Montgomery has pitched well in his first two starts of the season. But I like the Lower here because of Hernandez’s struggles against Montgomery in his career. Teoscar is 2-21 with 8 strikeouts against the big left-hander. I’m backing Monty and the D-Backs bullpen to keep Hernandez at bay.
