Well, degens. Monday night, we started off with a dud after our NHL Underdog picks went a meager one out of three. But you won’t hear any excuses from The Quick Pick; we only need to be better. Luckily, Tuesday night brings four more NHL Playoff games along with it. It’s time to get back on the horse and saddle up and ride. I believe it was Optimus Prime who once said, “Bangers aren’t just given; they are earned.” So Tuesday night is officially on notice because we’re cooking up a banger. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for April 30.

Teuvo Teravainen Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Carolina Hurricanes need one more win to put their series with the Islanders to bed. Tuesday night, they’ll have the opportunity to do so in front of their home fans. This team gets contributions from so many on a nightly basis, but tonight, we’re looking at Teuvo Teravainen.
The 29-year-old winger has points in each of their last three games in this series. He also has points in six of his last seven games going back into the regular season. For what the lines look like tonight, Teravainen is Value City Furniture. We’re taking the hot-handed Fin and pressing Higher Than 0.5 Points for Teuvo Teravainen in Game 5.
Brad Marchand Higher Than 0.5 Points
These Boston Bruins are a team full of toughness, grit, and veteran experience. It is no wonder that they have bullied the Toronto Maple Leafs around in this series. Tonight, the Bruins get a shot to drive the stake into the Leafs’ hearts in TD Garden. Who the hell else would we turn to in this spot but Brad Marchand?
To say he has turned up the intensity in this series would be an understatement. He has tallied at least one point in each of the four games, for a total of eight altogether. Tuesday night, Marchand makes Toronto his kid brother one more time to seal the deal. Go ahead and take Brad Marchand Higher Than 0.5 Points in Game 5 against Toronto.
J.T. Miller Higher Than 0.5 Points
If you missed the Canucks comeback in Game 4, you missed some stuff of legend. Now on Tuesday night, the Canucks look to end their business transaction with the Nashville Predators. American center J.T. Miller has the hot hand in this series for Vancouver. He logged three points in Game 4, two points in Game 3, and one point in Game 1.
I’m no statistician or rocket scientist. But, to quote a certain comedian, that seems “pretty, pretty, pretty good.” So, go ahead and mash Canucks center J.T. Miller Higher Than 0.5 Points tonight, and let’s cash a damn banger!
Best Ways to Build Your Tuesday Card
