2024 Zurich Classic Best DFS Plays By Range

We have an extremely unique week of PGA DFS on our hands here. The Zurich Classic is a two-man team event from TPC Louisiana. Each team will get to play a round of Fourball and a round of Foursomes. From there, a cut will be made, and the top 33 teams and ties will advance to the weekend, and the format will repeat, making your 2024 Zurich Classic DFS plays all the more interesting!

Fourball is the easiest of the two formats, where each player will play their own ball, and the lowest recorded score will be the team’s score. This leads to extremely aggressive play and a ton of birdies. The Foursomes format is an alternate shot. Player A will tee off, player B will hit the second shot, and so on. This format is a lot tougher, and anything under par is great. Let’s take a closer look at each tier and find the 2024 Zurich Classic Best DFS Plays By Range.

2024 Zurich Classic Best DFS Plays By Range

Upper Range: Nick Taylor / Adam Hadwin $9,200

Fading the top range. None of the above teams are guaranteed, so we will head down the board to grab the Canadian duo with the high ceiling. These two nearly won this event last season, and they are in better form this time around. More than that, they match up very well together. They are both extremely accurate off-the-tee and great putters, which will lead to a very comfortable pairing in the alt-shot format.

Plus, these two have something to prove and are not here to mess around. This is a Presidents Cup year and fellow Canadian and Captain Mike Weir will be monitoring this duo closely. If they play well, be on the lookout for them to represent Canada in this Fall’s Presidents Cup.

Mid Range: Aldrich Potgieter / Thriston Lawrence $7,100

Talk about another future Presidents Cup Duo! These two have a massive ceiling and have won on different tours. Lawrence is a winner on the DP World Tour and is not scared to take it low. Potgieter is a young stud who already won on The Korn Ferry tour this season. They both can absolutely launch the ball off the tee and get hot with the putter. These South Africans have nothing to lose and maybe playing for a Presidents Cup spot as well.

Bottom Range: Chez Reavie / Brandt Snedeker $6,100

I am not scared to go this low on Chez and Brendt. They are a great selection at the bottom range of this 2024 Zurich Classic DFS Board. Although they are clearly past their prime and not playing the best golf, they play a very safe game. This course will not overpower anyone in this field, which is huge for these two at this point in their career.

They are extremely comfortable with one another and compliment each other’s game well. Look for them to get through the cut led by the driving accuracy and putting.
