Underdog Fantasy MLB Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – April 22

All Pick ‘Em Selections Record: 11-9
Perfect 3-0 Pick Em Entries: 1

Aaron Judge Higher than 1.5 Total Bases

Yes, Aaron Judge is amongst one of the worst stretches of his career. He was banged up during Spring Training, and has yet to seem comfortable at the plate. Judge, who received boos after striking out four times on Saturday, has 15 hits in his first 82 at-bats, which is good for a .182 batting average. His 29 strikeouts are also good for the 10th most in MLB.

On Monday, Judge and the Yankees take on the Oakland A’s in the Bronx at 1:00 PM EST. The former Yankee JP Sears will be on the hill for the A’s. Judge has 4 at-bats against Sears. Three of those resulted in walks, and the other resulted in a Judge homerun. Judge is due for a big game.

Dylan Cease Higher than 34.5 Fantasy Points

On Monday, Cease and the Padres take on the last-place Colorado Rockies. The Rockies have lost seven of their last eight games, scoring just 14 runs in that span. On the other hand, Cease has been one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball so far this season. In 22.2 innings pitched this season, Cease has allowed just 5 earned runs, which is good for a 1.99 ERA. I’m looking for Cease to dominate a weak Rockies lineup.

Ha-Seong Kim Higher than 1.5 Total Bases

Kim is another player who has struggled a bit this season. He has a .226 average, but he’s still getting on base at a good clip. What I’m looking at in this spot for Kim, is his matchup against Monday’s starter, Austin Gomber. Kim is 6-14 against Gomber in his career, with five doubles. He also has great numbers in his career against the Rockies, hitting above .300. I’m expecting a huge night for Kim and the Padres on Monday.
