The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 14

Well, degens. Our no-good, horrible, terrible, very bad week continued after a one-for-three performance on Saturday. But today is Sunday, and with four games on the NHL slate, it means a shot at a fresh start. The season is winding down, but our profits have been steady, and our successful pick rate is an even 50%.

So everyone remember to give thanks to the NHL Underdog Gods and they may just bless us with a banger! And if that’s not your style, then feel free to take whatever actions are necessary to get us into the winner’s circle today. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for April 14.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 14

William Karlsson Higher Than 0.5 Points

The VGK have three games left in their season and will want to take some momentum into the playoffs. On Sunday they welcome the Avalanche to town, who just got dusted up 7-0 against Winnipeg. In this spot, we are keying in on centerman William Karlsson. He now has points in eight of his last nine games.

And, he notched two goals the last time on the ice against these Avalanche. Let’s look for William Karlsson to keep it rolling and take the Higher Than 0.5 Points against Colorado.

Andrei Svechnikov Higher Than 0.5 Points

For my money, the Carolina Hurricanes have looked more and more like a Stanley Cup Champ in the last month. On Sunday, they travel West to Chicago for a meeting against the lowly Blackhawks. This roster is loaded with playmakers, but today, we are honing in on winger Andrei Svechnikov. He comes into today sitting on 50 points.

But he has tallied at least a point in each of his last three games. And Svechnikov has been able to find the box score in four of his last seven road games. Let’s go ahead and mash that Higher Than 0.5 Points on Andrei Svechnikov against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jonathan Huberdeau Higher Than 0.5 Points

Our third NHL Underdog entry will play in Sunday’s nightcap and be wearing the Calgary Flames sweater. Although their season is done and dusted, Jonathan Huberdeau is determined to go out on a high note.

He skates into tonight’s contest on a five-game point streak. And he now has tallied points in 10 of his last 15 games. Oh, by the way? Huberdeau tallied 2 apples against these same Coyotes his last time facing them. We’re taking Jonathan Huberdeau to go Higher Than 0.5 Points on Sunday night and cashing a damn banger!
