Well, degens. Two days into this week and The Quick Pick entries are a combined two out of their last six. While we have yet to scoop up a profit or nail a banger, the grinding will always continue. Wednesday night, the NHL serves up a three-game slate, and there’s a banger waiting in the wings. So, just like that old song says, “Forget all your troubles, forget all your cares.” Since it’s Masters week, think of it like this. The next banger is sitting on a tee. You don’t have to be Scottie Scheffler to hit it. We just need to find the sweet spot. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for April 10.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 10
Pavel Buchnevich Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The St. Louis Blues are going to come up a few inches short of making the Western Conference playoffs. However, on Wednesday night, they’ll be skating on home ice against bottom-feeder Chicago. Conventional wisdom says this game should be free-flowing and wide-open. So we’re honing in on winger Pavel Buchnevich.
He has 34 assists this season and comes into tonight with an assist in two of his last three. Buchnevich also feasts on teams like Chicago, as is evidenced by four assists in three games against them this season. Our first NHL Underdog entry on Wednesday requires an apple to get us over the hump. Let’s press the Higher Than 0.5 Assists on Blues winger Pavel Buchnevich.
Jonathan Marchessault Higher Than 0.5 Points
Our second NHL Underdog entry will be skating in the marquee matchup in the NHL on Wednesday night. The VGK travel North up to Edmonton but may get lucky and fade Connor McDavid. This might also be a preview of a first-round playoff series, so I know I’ll be tuning in.
VGK center Jonathan Marchessault comes in, sitting on 67 points this season. He has also notched a point into the box score in seven of his last 10 games. His line can be trusted to produce in this spot.
We just need his stick to find the action. We’re taking Jonathan Marchessault to go Higher Than 0.5 Points in enemy territory against the Oilers.
J.T. Miller Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The Vancouver Canucks are in the playoffs but can potentially improve upon their seeding with some more points. On Wednesday night, they usher the Coyotes into town, and we’re keyed in on J.T. Miller.
The American centerman is smack dab on 100 points this season, 65 of which come by way of an assist. Miller also has registered an assist in five straight games, including two multi-assist nights.
And, in two games against the desert dogs this season, Miller has an apple in each. This entry should be pressed with a hammer-smashing force. Go ahead and take J.T. Miller’s Higher Than 0.5 Assists on home ice against the Coyotes.
