Well, degens. We are off to an inauspicious start this week after going just one out of three on Monday night. The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 9

Sam Reinhart Higher Than 0.5 Points

The Florida Panthers have stumbled out of the gate here in the month of April. However, they are still a force of a team with a pretty good shot at making a Cup run. 28-year-old center Sam Reinhart has a whopping 53 goals and 37 assists this season. He also comes into Monday’s matchup against the Sens on a two-game point streak.

And he has now tallied at least one point in 11 of his last 14 games. Not to mention, he has torched the Sens this year for five points in just three games against. Our first NHL Underdog entry is as bright as the Florida sunrise. Let’s take Sam Reinhart Higher Than 0.5 Points on home ice against the lowly Ottawa Senators.

Artturi Lehkonen Higher Than 0.5 Points

The Colorado Avalanche are as high-flying and high-octane an offense as the NHL has to offer. However, their depth and goaltending may not pass the biggest tests of a seven-game playoff series. But in their current moment, while Mackinnon is en fuego and Rantanen is sidelined, they’ll need to find another source.

On Tuesday night against the Wild, I think I’ve found that source in winger Artturi Lehkonen. He has only played in 41 games this season but does have 30 points.

Lehkonen also comes into tonight riding a five-game point streak. Just five days ago, he tallied a goal against these same Minnesota Wild. So, let’s go ahead and press that Higher Than 0.5 Points button on Avs winger Artturi Lehkonen.

Adrian Kempe Higher Than 0.5 Points

The LA Kings have just about put the bow on their season by clinching a playoff spot. Tuesday night, they’ll travel to Anaheim, where they should be able to extract two points. Swedish winger Adrian Kempe has been on a tear of late, riding a five-game point streak into tonight’s contest.

Kempe has also now tallied points in an astounding 12 of his last 14 games. He also has four points in just two games against these Ducks this season. So, let’s mash the Higher Than 0.5 Points on Adrian Kempe tonight and cash our banger!
