The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 8

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 8

Well, degens. I’d ask you how your week went, but if you’ve been tailing The Quick Pick, I already have a guess. Sunday night, we went an astonishing three for three again and cashed our fourth banger in a week! Those of you playing the Underdog Standard option scooped nearly 15x profits on this run.

Meanwhile, the Insured option players took home almost 9x in profits. You might hear about some total eclipse today or maybe even some National Championship game. But, our loyal readers know that the NHL is where the real value is. So forget about the path of totality or UConn winning another trophy and focus on tonight’s two-game NHL slate.

It might be lighter than the atomic weight of Neon, but there’s another banger brewing. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for April 8.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 8

Michael Bunting Higher Than 0.5 Points (1.05x Odds)

Somehow. Someway. The Pittsburgh Penguins are still alive and in with a shout in the Eastern Conference playoff race. On Monday night they head to Toronto in search of a massive two points. They’ve been put on the backs of Crosby and Malkin, but tonight, I see an opportunity for Michael Bunting.

The former Leaf is having a modest season and is in the midst of a three-game point streak. He also netted a goal against his former team back in late December. If you take a good whiff, this smells like a Bunting revenge game scenario. So, let’s go ahead and press Higher Than 0.5 Points at a spicier price on Michael Bunting.

J.T. Miller Higher Than 0.5 Points

The Vancouver Canucks are in a good spot prior to beginning their Stanley Cup playoff run. Injuries to Demko and Lindholm appear to be minor, which is great news for Canucks fans. On Monday night, they will skate on home ice against the VGK. Veteran center J.T. Miller is closing in on a 100-point season with 35 goals and 62 assists.

He also comes into Monday riding a seven-game point streak. Oh, and by the way? J.T. has two points tallied in three games against the VGK this season. Forget about eclipses and start thinking points. Our second NHL Underdog entry tonight is J.T. Miller to go Higher Than 0.5 points on home ice against Vegas.

William Karlsson Higher Than 0.5 Points

Our third NHL Underdog entry on Monday will be wearing the VGK sweater and goes by the name William Karlsson. With a few key players sidelined for the VGK tonight, I expect a bit more of a push from Karlsson. Not to mention, he is now riding a six-game point streak into tonight’s contest.

Karlsson also has a history of netting goals on the Canucks, with two in three games against this season alone. Given his fine recent form and tendency of lighting the lamp against the opponent, this entry tastes juicy. Let’s punch the Higher Than 0.5 Points on William Karlsson and start our week with a banger!

Best Ways to Build Your Monday Card

-Play these three players together using the “Standard” option on Underdog for a 4.72x winner

-Play all three players together using the “Insured” option on Underdog for a chance at a 2.36x winner for all three or a 0.78x winner for getting two out of three.
