FROZEN FOUR PICKS – NCAA Men’s Hockey Tournament Bracket
The College Hockey Experience (@TCEonSGPN) of the Sports Gambling Podcast Network give out their NCAA Hockey Tournament Picks and bracket predictions for the Frozen Four. On the show Colby Dant (@TheColbyD) and Noah Bieniek (@NoahB77_) give out their NCAA Hockey bets and break down all the tourney games.
Boston College is this year’s #1 overall seed. The Eagles were slotted into the Providence Regional with Michigan Tech, Wisconsin, and Quinnipiac. BC’s Cutter Gauthier and his freshman friends are all competing against each other for the Hobey Baker Award. Gauthier leads the nation with 35 goals. The freshman trio of Will Smith, Gabe Perrault, and Ryan Leonard were all 1st Rd NHL Draft picks last year.
The Maryland Heights Regional will have some ticketing issues because some of the best and most passionate programs and fanbases will be coming to town. Coach Adam Nightengale hammered the Transfer portal to change and turn around the culture of Michigan State’s hockey program. The Spartans play a bipolar little brother Western Michigan group. WMU is an analytical darling who have underperformed expectations, Could the Broncos pull off the 1st round upset? Which blue blood will emerge from the first round North Dakota or Michigan?
UMass is the 4-seed in the Springfield Regional however it will basically be a home game for the Minutemen against Denver. Will Jack Devine and the Pioneers prevail? Maine will be playing in their first NCAA Tournament since 2012. Can the Nadeau brothers (Bradley and Josh) lead the Black Bears back to the Frozen Four? What will Mike Schafer’s Cornell Big Red squad have to say about it?
