The 32-team field was set Sunday evening, with Seton Hall, Villanova, Wake Forest, and Indiana State snagging the No. 1 seeds. The No.2 seeds include Princeton who went to the Sweet 16 as a No. 15 seed last year in the NCAA Tournament. Joining them as No. 2 seeds are Ohio State, Cincinnati and Utah are the No.2 seeds. Providence, Virginia Tech, Bradley, and Iowa are the NIT No. 3 seeds. No. 4 seeds include Butler, UCF, and SEC foes LSU and Georgia.
2024 NIT Tournament Bracket
The NIT Tournament first-round kicks off Tuesday, March 19th with the first-round, second-round, and quarterfinals all being held at campus sites. The action then moves to Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the semi-final and championship round. The 2024 NIT Tournament championship will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The 2024 NIT Tournament tips off with four games across the ESPN family. LSU (4) vs defending NIT champion North Texas. Providence (3) will face Boston College. Georgia (4) takes on Xavier. Ohio State (2) will take on Cornell.
