Saturday’s Underdog entries didn’t quite have the luck of the Irish, as they went a mere one out of three. However, Sunday is St. Patrick’s Day and The Quick Pick did leave gold out for the Leprechaun last night. Hopefully both the Leprechaun and the Underdog gods look favorably upon us today. There is a seven-game NHL slate on Sunday, and it is time to bounce back. So, with a little bit o’ luck and a lot o’ bit of skill, it’s time to build a banger. Mikael Granlund Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The San Jose Sharks haven’t had much to write home about this year. However, veteran center Mikael Granlund is one of the bright spots on this roster. He heads to Chicago on Sunday, sitting on nine goals and 34 assists this season. Granlund also has 11 points across his last 10 games. Of those 11 points, nine have come by way of the assist. The Sharks also wear green jerseys, so for the “sticious” degen’s, we’ll take some luck with this entry. Go ahead and press that Higher Than button on Sharks center Mikael Granlund.Mark Scheifele Higher Than 0.5 Assists (1.1x Odds)
The Winnipeg Jets have struggled to string wins together lately but look to be a dark horse in the West. Veteran centerman Mark Scheifele comes into Sunday’s matchup against Columbus with 19 goals and 39 assists. He also is up to eight assists across his last ten games. The opposition is playing for nothing, but the Jets need these two road points. And with a spicier 1.1x price here, a Scheifele apple is worth the pick. Let’s take Mark Scheifele Higher Than 0.5 Assists against the Blue Jackets.
