Yesterday’s card managed to go 2-1 with both points plays clearing sweat-free, but the assists play missed the mark. The bad news is that we’re coming down to the very end of conference tournament season. The good news is that we still have a really nice slate of games to pick from. Let’s dive into my Underdog Fantasy college basketball picks for March 16.
Remember, playing all three of these on Underdog Fantasy would 6X your money on a single three-leg parlay!

Charles Pride (St. Bonaventure) Higher than 14.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
This is one of the squarest numbers you’ll find on today’s slate. Bonnies guard Charles Pride is coming into the Atlantic-10 semifinals, averaging 11.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
He’s cleared 14.5 PRA in each of his last two games. Pride has also faced Duquesne twice this year and cleared 14.5 PRA with ease in both games. He racked up 19 PRA back on January 23rd, and then Pride went off for 31 on February 10th.
Pride is another guy in line for an increased minute load, and he should have no problem clearing 14.5 PRA against the Dukes. Get Pride in your Underdog Fantasy entry for March 16.
Bez Mbeng (Yale) Higher Than 4.5 Assists
Yale’s Bez Mbeng is coming into Ivy Madness, averaging 4.2 assists per game. Mbeng has cleared 4.5 assists in four straight games with a season-high of 10 against Harvard on March 2nd.
He’s also faced Cornell twice in the regular season. Mbeng racked up six assists on February 10th and just missed clearing 4.5 with four on February 23rd.
Mbeng should see an increase in workload in the conference tournament and should have plenty of opportunity to set up his teammates against a leaky Cornell defense. Look for Mbeng to clear 4.5 assists and make sure he’s in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball pick ’em entry for March 16.
Cameron Brown (St. Joseph’s) Lower Than 17.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
This game is going to be an absolute rock fight and looks like a great spot to fade a beefy PRA number.
St. Joseph’s guard Cameron Brown is coming into this half of the Atlantic 10 semifinals, averaging 11.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. He’s cleared 17.5 PRA in each of his last two games, but he missed in three of his previous four games.
Brown has faced VCU once this year and only managed seven PRA in 24 minutes. VCU is 45th in the nation in opponent three-point percentage. The Rams defend the perimeter, and Brown won’t find many open looks.
VCU also goes out of their way to slow the pace of the game. The Rams are 297th in pace, and championship games tend to go a bit slower. Fewer possessions also mean that Brown won’t get as many chances to spot up. Look to fade Brown in your Underdog Fantasy entry.
