Johnell Davis (Florida Atlantic) Higher Than 16.5 Points
Johnell Davis is coming into today’s game against North Texas, averaging 18.2 points per game. Why is this total so low? Well, it’s North Texas. Everyone’s point total should be a bit lower against the Mean Green. Everyone except Davis.
Davis has gone over 16.5 points in four of his last seven. That’s a decent trend, but not the angle we’re playing here.
Davis has played North Texas twice this year, and he’s absolutely wrecked them in both games. In the first match-up on January 28th, Davis racked up 28 points. He played the Mean Green again on March 6th. He went for 29 points the second time around.
North Texas is also on a back-to-back after beating Tulane yesterday, and Florida Atlantic has been watching since March 9th. Look for Davis to go higher than his points total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball pick’em entry today.
Harlond Beverly (Wichita State) Higher Than 2.5 Assists
This is an odd number, and we like odd numbers here. Wichita State guard Harlond Beverly is averaging 3.2 assists per game this year. He’s cleared 2.5 assists in four of his last five games.
Beverly has faced UAB once this year, and he racked up five assists in 32 minutes. His workload should increase this time around. He should have no problem clearing 2.5 assists if he’s playing 35+ minutes against a team that he just racked up five assists against.
Johni Broome (Auburn) Higher Than 15.5 Points
The last time we saw Johni Broome against South Carolina, he scored 21 points in 22 minutes in a Valentine’s Day blowout at The Jungle.
Broome has cleared 15.5 points in five of his last seven games. He’s also coming into this match up averaging 16.3 points per game.
South Carolina will hang tougher in this one than they did in February, but they still need to find an answer for Broome. Look for Broome to get his in a tighter game and clear his points number in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball pick’em entry for March 15.
