Our Sunday NHL Underdog entries went just one out of three and snapped a four-day cashing streak. If you’d like to file an appeal, please direct your inquiries toward the Nashville Predators and Anaheim Ducks. The Quick Pick will be choosing to press onward and view this new week as a clean slate.
Monday night, the NHL offers a modest four-game slate with a few spicy matchups. It’s time to throw that chef hat on and grab an apron because we’re cooking up a banger on Monday. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for March 11.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for March 11
Artemi Panarin Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The New York Rangers will skate on home ice Monday night and welcome their rival New Jersey Devils to town. The stories are a bit different for these two teams this year, as the Rangers still have an outside shot at the President’s Trophy.
Meanwhile, the Devils are on the outside looking in. Rangers winger Artemi Panarin is up to 35 goals and 52 assists this season. He has now tallied at least one assist in each of his last four games. Back on February 22, Panarin roasted the Devils with three assists.
Our first NHL Underdog entry is rather elementary, my dear Watson. We’re taking Artemi Panarin Higher Than 0.5 Assists against the Devils.
Josh Morrissey Higher Than 0.5 Assists (1.1x Odds)
The Winnipeg Jets are coming off a 5-0 blanking at the hands of Western Conference leaders the Vancouver Canucks. Monday night, they’ll return home and take on the surging Washington Capitals.
The Jets will need to have the memory of a goldfish if they want to take the two points tonight. That’s why I am tapping defenseman Josh Morrissey to snag an assist in this spot. The Calgary native is up to 44 helpers on the season, with 16 coming across his last 11 games.
Morrissey spends more time on the ice than any other player on this roster, so the chances should be there tonight. Let’s sprinkle extra pepper on this one and take Josh Morrissey Higher Than 0.5 Assists at home against the Caps.
Mathew Barzal Higher Than 0.5 Points
It’s March, and typically, the sports degens associate this month with madness. With that being the case, the New York Islanders come into Monday squarely on the bubble. They sit tied in points for the last Wild Card spot in the East with 23 games left to play. So, a road win against the LA Kings tonight would be a massive surge forward.
In order to get that win, they’ll need the contributions of center Mathew Barzal. He is up to 68 points on the season and comes into Monday on a seven-game point streak. Within that stretch, he has tallied three goals and six assists.
We’ll take the hot-handed Matthew Barzal to go Higher Than 0.5 Points and take our banger in cash!
