Another day, another 2-1 result. The lower on PRA for Dawson Garcia and Aaron Scott both hit last night. However, Antonio Reeves couldn’t clear the hook on his points total. A winning night is still a winning night, but we’re due for a clean sweep. Do we give the books the broom tonight? Here are my Underdog Fantasy college basketball picks for March 7!

Andrej Jakimovski (Washington State) Higher Than 17.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
The Washington State Cougars host the Washington Huskies for the Apple Cup on hardwood tonight.
Wazzu forward Andrej Jakimovski averages 10.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He’s also cleared 17.5 PRA in four of his last six. On February 3rd, Jakimovski faced the Huskies on the road and racked up 18 PRA.
Jakimovski is also much better in Pullman than on the road. When he plays at home, Jakimvoski averages 11.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. The Cougars are still in the mix for the one-seed in the PAC-12, and their regulars will likely see heavy minutes.
Look for Jakimovski to fill up the stat sheet and go higher than 17.5 PRA in your Underdog college basketball pick’em entry.
K.J. Simpson (Colorado) Higher Than 4.5 Assists
The Colorado Buffaloes head to Oregon to play for the three-seed in the PAC-12 conference tournament. Colorado has no reason to sit anyone, so they should play their regulars for the majority of this game.
K.J. Simpson is the key to the Buffs’ offense. He averages 4.8 assists per game this year. He’s also cleared 4.5 assists in six of his last seven games. Simpson also racked up five assists against the Ducks in Boulder on January 18th.
The Buffs have also gone over 80 points in each of their last four games and should do the same here. Simpson should have a ton of opportunities to set his teammates up, and you’ll want to make sure you’re going higher on his assists total.
Simpson’s point total is also an option, but the 4.5 assists is much sharper.
Max Klesmit (Wisconsin) Lower Than 16.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists
This number absolutely stinks, but sometimes, you have to dive into the stink. Klesmit only averages 9.9 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Why is this number so high?
Klesmit has gone over in two of his last three, and he’s logged a heavier minute load for the past five games. However, the two games he went over were at home against Illinois and Maryland. Rutgers comes into Madison tonight, and they’re bringing their nasty defense with them.
Klesmit faced Rutgers at the RAC on February 10th. He managed three points and one assist in 20 minutes. He had as many fouls as he did points. Rutgers is a really tough matchup for a perimeter player like Klesmit, and they should hold him under 16.5 PRA.
This is one of the more obvious plays of the night, but it’s a bad spot for the wrong type of player. Make sure you go lower on Klesmit’s PRA in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball pick’em entry for March 7th.
