Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks March 5

Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks March 5

Monday night was night was not the best night as a capper. Kyle Filipowski got into foul trouble and pouted his way to only five rebounds and assists. Ja’Kobe Walter hooked us, and Tyrese Hunter cleared his PRA number. Tuesday is a much bigger slate, and there are a lot more tasty numbers to get after. Here are my College Basketball Underdog Fantasy Picks for today, March 5!

Also, keep in mind that by building your entry with our picks, you could 6X your money on just one three-leg parlay.

Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks March 5

Matthew Dewoskin Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Pick Em Record (Est 3/1/2024)

All Pick Em Selections: 8-4-0 (66.0%)

Spicy Multiplier Picks: 0-0 (0%)

Perfect 3-0 Pick Em Entries: 1-3 (+0.4 units)

Walter Clayton, Jr. (Florida) Higher Than 18.5 Points

The Florida Gators are still playing for conference tournament seeding and have no reason to rest anyone. Walter Clayton has gone higher than 18.5 points in six out of his last seven games. This includes a 27-point outburst in Tuscaloosa against the same Alabama team he’s playing tonight.

Clayton and the Gators are back in The Swamp, and Alabama is off an emotional loss at home. Also, the Crimson Tide have shown time and time again that they’re not interested in getting after it on the defensive end. Clayton torched the Tide in the first match up, and he should have do the same again tonight in Gainesville.

Also, going higher on Clayton’s 2.5 three-pointers made is also in play.

Jayden Epps (Georgetown) Higher Than 16.5 Points

Georgetown has nothing to play for here…except this is Ed Cooley’s previous employer, and the Providence Friars beat Cooley once this year. Georgetown has looked better over the past month, and Cooley is going to look to steal one here from Providence. That means that he’s going to play his regulars a bit heavier.

Jayden Epps torched Providence for 26 points on January 27th. He’s also cleared 16.5 points in three of his last four games. Look for Epps to log heavy minutes and go higher than his point total at Underdog Fantasy.

Epps PRA is also in play, but the points straight up is the strongest play here.

Tyson Degenhart (Boise State) Higher Than 26.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

26.5 PRA is a beefy number, but Tyson Degenhart is Mr. Everything for this Boise State and really fills up a stat sheet. Degenhart averages 17.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. However, he’s gone over 26.5 PRA in each of his last two games and four of his last six.

Degenhart also went off for 33 PRA in his first game against Nevada in Reno. Boise State needs this win for seeding purposes and to polish their tournament resume. The Broncos have no reason to rest their regulars and this should be a back and forth game with plenty of opportunities for Degenhart to fill up the stat sheet.

Look to go higher on the beefy PRA number for Degenhart in your Underdog Fantasy Pick’em entry for March 5.
