Another Friday with an extremely short slate. I still do not understand how the schedule makers failed to give us a decent amount of games on Friday. We do have a few nice matchups tonight. Let’s take a look at our selections for tonight. Here are the College Basketball picks for February 23rd.

College Basketball Picks February 23rd
Toledo (-4) at Bowling Green (O/U 156.5)
Toledo heads to Bowling Green for a matchup between two Ohio MAC teams. The Rockets are tied for first in the MAC and have a great chance to take the lead in the conference, as Akron will have a tough matchup with Kent State. Bowling Green is coming off three straight losses to lesser teams, which is surely a concern.
The fact they are only four-point dogs is all you need to know. Toledo is clearly the better team and already has a win against Bowling Green by 16! This is an extremely smelly line, and we are not going to bite. Take the home dogs!

Kent State at Akron (-7.5) (O/U 136.5)
Two of the better teams in The MAC meet up in Akron. These two have played extremely electric games over the last few years, and I am sure this one will be just as fun.

Both Kent State and Akron have players that can take control and set the pace. I am expecting these two to go shot for shot, leading to points being scored. Akron is a solid defensive team, but I am expecting fireworks in this matchup. Let’s play the total here.
