Wednesday night hoops is here! We see eight top 25 teams in action tonight, but I want to take a look at a few mid-majors on today’s slate. As we all know, there is money to be made at all levels of college hoops. Here are the College Basketball picks for February 21st.

College Basketball Picks February 21st
South Florida -5.5 at UTSA (O/U 155.5)
Massive letdown spot on the road for American Athletic leading… South Florida Bulls. They are coming off a massive home win in a mega-hyped environment in Tampa against in-state rival and top 25 Florida Atlantic. Tonight, they head to UTSA against one of the worst teams in conference who they expect to roll over.
Simply a plug-your-nose special. You would expect this team to be near double digits, especially since South Florida already beat UTSA by 17 earlier this year! This line stinks, bet it and forget it, roll with the Roadrunners playing USF off the big win.
The Pick: UTSA +5.5
Dayton (-2.5) at George Mason (O/U 133.5)
Little by little, Dayton’s Atlantic Ten lead is dripping away. Loyola Chicago is on the back burner and is now tied for first place with the Flyers. This fact alone has me thinking Dayton is dialed in to stay at the top of the league.
Sneakily, EagleBank Arena is a tough place to play. Fairfax, VA, always supports their Patriots. GMU had an extremely solid start to the season but has faltered under their first-year coach and new roster.
Dayton is clearly the better team but will have to overcome the road environment. They have so many paths to success, and this number is simply too short to pass up. Flyers get it done tonight.
