A new week is off and running here at The Quick Pick, and Monday’s entries went two for three. If you played the Insured option on President’s Day, then congratulations to you and your 1.02x profits. The NHL now quickly turns the page to Tuesday and offers a fine eight-game slate. With the recent scoring trends we have seen, Tuesday looks like a point night entry. So grab your beverages and fire up that Underdog app. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for February 20.
The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for February 20
Sam Reinhart Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Florida Panthers are surging lately and have now rattled off five straight wins. And across those five games, they have now scored a whopping 26 goals. Tuesday night, we’re focusing on Canadian centerman Sam Reinhart. He is having an other-worldly season with 39 goals and 27 assists.
Coming into Tuesday’s matchup against the Ottawa Senators, he has four points across his last five games. Back in November, he also torched this same Sens team with a two-goal, two-point night. Let’s trust the kid with our first NHL Underdog entry and take Sam Reinhart Higher Than 0.5 Points at home against the Senators.
Quinn Hughes Higher Than 0.5 Points
First, all you can really say is “wow!” after the Canucks lost 10-7 to the Minnesota Wild yesterday. The silver lining for Vancouver is they still sit atop the Western Conference as they travel to Colorado on Tuesday. 24-year-old defenseman Quinn Hughes has put together 12 goals and an insane 54-assist season thus far.
Tuesday night, all we need is a point against an Avs team that’s been leaking some oil in February. His time on ice and contributions on the Power Play make this look like a stone-cold lock. Go ahead and press Quinn Hughes Higher Than 0.5 Points in Colorado tonight.
Roman Josi Higher Than 0.5 Points
Loyal readers of the Quick Pick will certainly have picked up on my affinity for the Preds defenseman. With 11 goals and 39 apples this year, it’s been hard to bet against his name being on the box score from night to night. Tuesday’s matchup in Vegas won’t be easy. However, this feels like a spot I would trust the Preds on the ML as a dawg.
And in order for that to happen, Roman Josi will need to plant his name on the box score yet again. I mean, he has five multi-point nights in his last ten games. So go on ahead and smash Roman Josi Higher Than 0.5 Points tonight and let’s cash this banger!
