A fun slate on our hands this Thursday evening. We will see a ton of mid-majors try and make a statement tonight and cement themselves as this year’s Cinderella. Let’s take a closer look. Here are my College Basketball picks for today, February 15th.

College Basketball Picks February 15th
Temple at Florida Atlantic (-19.5) (O/U 148.5)
Temple takes the trip south to head to Boca Raton and take on the 24th-ranked Florida Atlantic Owls.
Florida Atlantic is coming off an eventful win at Wichita State that took overtime for them to outlast the pesky Shockers. They return back home where the sole focus will be on… the next game. South Florida, who sits atop the conference, will visit in a few days. FAU did not expect to be in 2nd place at this point in the season, so they will be dialed to gain ground on the leader.
With that, I am calling a little look-ahead spot for the home team here. They do tend to “play with their food” as well and let lesser teams linger around. Let’s take the points.
The Pick: Temple +19
SMU (-2.5) at Tulane (O/U 158.5)
Just two weeks ago, these two played in Dallas, and SMU narrowly outlasted Tulane. I am envisioning a nice bounce back for The Green Wave at Devlin.
They are a boom-or-bust team, and we are getting them with points. This team has beaten some of the best teams in the conference and lost to some of the worst. Volatility is good in an underdog setting, and that is what we are getting.
SMU has Memphis, FAU, and Tulane around the corner, which are three of the best teams in the conference, so they will surely be looking ahead to those games.
The Pick: Tulane +2.5
