College Basketball Picks February 13th
North Carolina (-8.5) at Syracuse (O/U 156.5)
This is North Carolina and Syracuse’s second meeting this season. The first one was in Chapel Hill and did not go well for The Orange. UNC won that game by a score of 103-67.
This time around, Syracuse will surely be looking for revenge. They will have the dome behind them and will be shooting three ball after three ball. Although they are the home team in a revenge spot.
I cannot get over how easily UNC scored the ball last matchup. This Tar Hell offense should be able to get what they want all game and have enough to cover, even though Syracuse will be looking for revenge.
The Pick: North Carolina -8.5
Illinois State at Indiana State (-18.5) (O/U 143.5)
Indiana State has entered the top 25, and they are absolutely a team to keep an eye on. The Sycamores play fast, shoot the ball well, and are a problem for everyone in their conference. They are coming off a few stressful wins of late. ISU won against Drake after being down early and defeated Missouri State on the road in a back-and-forth matchup.
They are coming into this matchup looking past Illinois State. It would be extremely on-brand for this mid-major team to enter the top 25 and lose their next game. I am not calling the upset, but I believe Illinois State will keep this closer than 18.5.
