Some huge headlines ahead of this week’s Genesis Invitational. Tiger returns to the field for his first PGA Tour event of 2024, and we have another “signature” event. This is an amazing DFS Week if you ask me. We have an 80-man field with a 50-man cut.
The 6/6 rate will be a tad higher than normal as over 60% of the field will make the cut as opposed to around 40% most weeks. If your lineups only have five golfers make the cut, consider it cooked! Let’s take a deeper look at this Genesis Invitational DFS board.

2024 Genesis Invitational: Best DFS Plays By Range
Upper Range
Rory McIlroy $11,200
Whenever the scoring gets easier, Rory elevates his game. By no means am I calling Riviera an easy track, but there are a ton of chances to make birdies out here. In the last two years, the winning scores were -17 and -19. That is right up Rory’s wheelhouse, and he has played well here in his career.
From a DFS standpoint, he is a great name to click at the top. The last we saw of him, he was hacking it around at Pebble Beach, which I am willing to forgive and forget. That was a pro-am format, multi-course rotation, with horrific weather.
He has proven to play well already this year with a runner-up and win in Dubai, so we know the game is in a solid spot. He will probably be less owned at this price, which makes him a great DFS play, in my opinion. Start your 2024 Genesis Invitational DFS Lineups with Rory.
Mid Range
Cam Young $8,500
Cam really made a name for himself in LA two seasons ago. He went shot for shot with Joaquin Niemann but ultimately fell two shots short. He flashed last week at the WMPO but fell apart in round four. His numbers looked really solid, and he got great reps in.
Cam Young is a golfer that people have had enough of, and I believe him flashing on the leaderboard only to fall short once again will keep the ownership down. Course history is extremely important at Riviera, and Cam has played great here. He is a great click in your 2024 Genesis Invitational DFS Lineups.
Corey Conners $7,300
Conners is steadily playing very “Corey Conners” golf. He has a nice week in Phoenix and has played well here in LA. Conners gives you a very safe style of play. He will hit most of the fairways and greens and hopefully roll some putts. His steady tee-to-green play clears him as a lock to make the cut and can give you some upside on the weekend.
Low Range
Lucas Glover $6,500
A man who has won twice in the last five months is priced at the same point as a holder who has played once in that time. I am aware that Lucas Glover has a really poor course history, but he is a different player this time around.
He is also coming off a Waste Management in which he did not tee it up! Glover missed his tee time and was forced to WD, which gave him a full week to prep for Riviera. Glover has won in a stronger field than this very recently. There is no reason he cannot make the cut and finish inside the top 20 for your lineups.
