The only way to follow up an overtime Super Bowl is to keep the action going. College basketball provides the opportunity to stay in the game. The theme doesn’t apply tonight, as no ranked teams go on the road against an unranked conference opponent. Here are my College Basketball picks for February 12th!

College Basketball Picks February 12th
Kansas at Texas Tech (-3.5) (O/U 144)
Waited until Kevin McCullar’s status was determined. The former Red Raider will miss tonight’s game. Kansas will be without their star forward for the second time in three days. Kansas was able to find a victory against Baylor, but don’t expect that same luck when they hit the road.
Kansas is a different team away from home. They have already dropped their last three road games, and now they are shorthanded. Kevin McCullar is out with a knee injury, and Dajuan Harris is bothered by an ankle injury. That ankle will be tested by the Red Raiders backcourt.
Texas Tech defends their home court well (12-1 Straight Up). Have to back the Red Raiders with the travel spot and injuries on the Jayhawks.
The Pick: Texas Tech -3.5
Wake Forest at Duke (-7) (O/U 154)
Just a game separates these two teams in the ACC standings. It’s easy to look at the North Carolina loss and use that as a barometer to judge the Duke Blue Devils. The most impressive part of their back-to-back wins since then is the balance in their scoring. The Blue Devils had 5 players reach double figures against Boston College.
Wake Forest is familiar with offense as well. The Deacons quietly rank inside the top 30 of adjusted offensive efficiency. Hunter Sallis leads the charge coming off the 33-point performance against NC State.
This will be the first of two meetings between the two teams this month. Wake Forest has competed this season and will be looking to pull off what Pitt was able to earlier this season. Backing the over with both teams able to get buckets. Wake Forest overs are 3-1 when they are an away underdog this season.
