The Minnesota Wild’s playoff hopes ain’t dead yet, but they are certainly on life support. If they’re going to sneak in, two points will be needed on Friday night against the Penguins. We’re going to key in on the 21-year-old Minnesota kid, Brock Faber, to snag us a point. He has been stellar of late, with points in seven of his last eight games. Also, flip back a couple of months on the calendar and peep the point he logged in Pittsburgh. Let’s catch some Faber Fire with this first NHL Underdog entry and press Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Penguins.

Frank Vatrano Higher Than 0.5 Points

Unlike the Wild, the Anaheim Ducks playoffs chances are as dead as disco. The tests don’t get any easier on Friday night with the Edmonton Oilers skating into town. But our old pal Frank Vatrano is still worthy of consideration as an NHL Underdog entry. Prior to the All-Star Break, Vatrano logged points in three of four games. And, back on December 31, he scored a goal and logged four shots against these same Oilers. So, let’s trust the Massachusetts man to do what must be done to cash a banger.
