Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks For February 6th
Underdog Pick Em Record (Est 12/1/2023)
All Pick Em Selections: 63-41-4 (60.6%)
Spicy Multiplier Picks: 1-0 (100%)
Perfect 3-0 Pick Em Entries: 4-31 (-2 units)
Darrion Trammell (Kansas) Lower Than 13.5 PRA
First off, I love picking on players’ PRAs when they don’t start games regularly for their respective teams. Darrion Trammell is no different, as he has only started three games all season.
Trammell has put up less than 13.5 points, rebounds, and assists in 6 of his 8 Mountain West Conference games. This player projection is also 17-3 on the season!
Cormac Ryan (North Carolina) Lower Than 5.5 Rebounds + Assists
Shit hit the fan during the first matchup between these two teams. Clemson’s center PJ Hall played only 24 minutes and fouled out. North Carolina’s point guard Elliott Cadeau only played 18 minutes due to foul trouble. Since that game UNC’s freshman facilitator is averaging 26 minutes a game.
It was a perfect storm for Tar Heels’ guard Cormac Ryan to record 4 assists and 2 boards. In the eight games since these two teams played last, Ryan has had less than 5.5 Reb + Ast in all of them.
The Tigers are a Top 55 defensive rebounding team in the country, and their opponents also only get assists on 43.8% of their field goals. That’s the 31st lowest rate in the country.
John Michael Wright (Oklahoma State) Lower Than 3.5 Rebounds + Assists
Houston is a super aggressive team defensively in the steals department and on the glass. The Cougars just got creamed on the road at Kansas. Oklahoma State is in the wrong place at the wrong time in this game.
Cowboys’ guard John Michael Wright has cumulated lower than 3.5 rebounds and assists in eight of OSU’s nine Big 12 games. This player projection is also a whopping 17-5 on the season.
