One of those veterans is Gustav Nyquist, who brings 12 goals and 24 assists into Monday’s matchup against Florida. He’ll also pack a two-game point streak into tonight, for a total of six in his last seven games.

The mountain is not yet too steep to climb for the Penguins to sneak into the playoffs. If they are going to get there, defenseman Erik Karlsson is going to need to stay hot. He carries seven goals and 25 assists into Monday’s game against the Coyotes. Not only that, Karlsson is currently riding an eight game point streak.

Couture has a history of nabbing points against this Kings team, with four in his last seven games against them. Let’s take the Sharks veteran center in just his second game of the season.
