Wednesday night, our NHL Underdog entries went a profitable and successful two out of three. Congratulations to Quick Pick tailers who used the Insured option for their entry, as they scored 1x profit. For those keeping track at home, that’s now 4x profit on Insured entries this week alone!
Thursday night offers a jam-packed 13-game slate in the NHL, and our crystal ball has more winners. So take a seat at the table, and let’s have a gaze upon tonight’s entries. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for January 11.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for January 11
Evan Bouchard Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The Edmonton Oilers have done a complete 360 since they made a coaching change. Don’t look now, but they’ve rattled off eight straight victories, and Thursday against Detroit, they’ll look to make it nine. We’re keying in on our old pal Evan Bouchard in this matchup, as he now has six assists in his last six games.
With the Oilers finding their groove and Bouchard’s ice time on the Power Play, an assist here feels like a lock. We’re taking Evan “Almighty” Bouchard to go Higher Than 0.5 Assists on the road in Detroit Thursday night!
Brock Boeser Higher Than 0.5 Assists (1.25x Odds)
The Vancouver Canucks continue to look like Cup contenders here in 2024. Thursday night, they travel to Pittsburgh for their fifth straight road game as part of a seven-game road trip. While on the road trip, winger Brock Boeser has tallied four assists and five points.
Although Pittsburgh has been stingy on defense, the Canucks offense and Power Play are potent. Boeser has also torched Eastern Conference opposition this season, tallying 10 of his 19 assists against them. At a spicy price on Thursday night, we’re looking for a Boeser apple to add to our NHL Underdog basket.
Let’s punch Brock Boeser to go Higher Than 0.5 Assists against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.
Blake Coleman Higher Than 0.5 Points
Tonight, the Calgary Flames skate into a battle for Wild Card positioning against the Arizona Coyotes. Although it’s January, tonight feels like a must-win spot for the Flames if they’re going to be taken seriously. 32-year-old American Blake Coleman has been cooking with gas lately, tallying eight points in his last six games.
When big results are needed, it’s the veterans that seem to step up the most. So, Thursday night, we’re igniting Blake Coleman and grilling up a point for a banger. Lock in Blake Coleman to go Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Arizona Coyotes!
