College Basketball Picks January 6th
North Carolina (159.5) at Clemson -3.5
This is one of the more hyped North Carolina-Clemson meetings on the hardwood of all time. Both of these teams are inside the top 20 and have a real chance to make some noise in the NCAA tourney in a few months.
Last game, I faded Clemson on the road at Miami and cashed with ease. They were off a few nice wins, Miami was already in desperation mode, and Clemson had THIS to look forward to.
Obviously, North Carolina has owned Clemson over the years, but the Tigers have a chance to change that. Littlejohn Coliseum will be rocking on Saturday afternoon, and this will not be the same Clemson team UNC is used to.
PJ Hall is averaging over 20 points per game and will give this UNC frontcourt a real challenge. Ride with the Tigers.
OMG PJ HALL😱💥‼️

The Pick: Clemson -3.5
Delaware (144.5) at Hofstra -5.5
Just a few days ago, Hofstra was two point favorites against a really good Charleston team. Personally, I thought that line was correct, as Charleston won outright, but it was only by two.
I was looking at that game as a big prove-it spot for the Pride. They hosted a better team as small favorites and had a real chance to win that contest.
With the departure of Aaron Estrada for Hofstra, I was less than optimistic about how they would fare this year. At 7-7, they are not lighting the world on fire, but they have looked pretty solid thus far.
They host Delaware today, who comes in at 9-5. Like Hofstra, they lost their best player to a big school. They have also looked better than advertised, but I was too impressed with what I saw from Hofstra to not wager on them in this one.
The Pick: Hofstra -5.5
